Who We Are
No Hype Music was created out of a simple frustration with the modern bass music industry: too much image, not enough substance. The deep dub community has always been rooted in sound system culture, patience, and intention but over time, that ethos started getting drowned out by algorithms, clout, and empty branding.
No Hype Music exists to push back against that.
We are a deep dub and 140-focused label built on integrity, accessibility, and long-term artist development. Our goal isn't to manufacture hype or chase trends. It's to give real artists a platform, resources, and honest support so the music can speak for itself.
Unlike many labels, No Hype actively seeks out talent. We reach out to producers directly, listen to demos personally, give real feedback, and only release music we genuinely believe in. Every release is intentional. Every artist relationship is built on transparency. We believe labels should serve artists not the other way around.
No Hype Music lives in the deeper end of the spectrum: weight, space, restraint, and sound system energy. Aesthetically, we keep it stripped back, black and white, minimal, raw, because the focus stays where it should be: on the music.
